Chef Elena Montoya grew up on the shores of Barceloneta, where her grandmother taught her that the sea provides everything you need — if you know how to listen.
After two decades in kitchens from San Sebastián to New York City, Elena brought her Mediterranean sensibility to Montauk in 2019. MARISOL was born from a simple belief: the best seafood needs only the lightest touch.
Every morning, we meet the local fishermen at the docks. Our oysters come from Peconic Bay. Our lobster is hauled from the Atlantic waters just offshore. Our menu changes with the tides, because the ocean decides what we serve — not the other way around.
